Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a set of questions that I am often asked and I have tried to answer each one as fully as possible. However, if you can't find the answer to a specific question you have or need further clarification on any of the one's answered here, please email me

Q: What materials and equipment will I need to complete the course?

A: I find that most people who take an art course already have a small stock of paints, glue, paper etc, however for this course, I have designed each stage to be as economical as possible utilising ordinary items found in the home with just a few basics such as some acrylic paints, a couple of brushes, some PVA glue and just two 'specialist' and inexpensive materials with suggestions of where to buy them. That said, everything you need you will either have already or will be able to buy for a few pounds at the most.

A full list will be accessible at the point of sale.

Q: What digital device will I need to view the course content?

A: To the best of my knowledge and having trialled and tested this course with many people who have bought and completed it, all the content should be viewable on all digital platforms, including mobile phones. Obviously, you will need internet access with a good connection. However, it is advisable to view on the largest screen possible for ease of visibility and if you need to pause or rewind the video back a little to catch anything you may need clarification with. I can assure you that every effort has been taken to ensure that all the content is fully accessible and all of the clickable and downloadable content works.

However, technical issues can be emailed to me via the links on this site and I will do my very best to resolve them for you.

Q: How do I sign up and get started on the course?

A: From the Home page click on 'ABOUT THE COURSE' - read the description and then click on the button saying                             'Sign Up and Get Started'. Click the 'BUY NOW' button and follow the instructions to complete the transaction via PayPAL

or bank card.  Download the PDF and return back to the Home page to access the course content.

Q: How long will it take me to complete the course?

A: All of the video tutorials are around an hour or less and I recommend watching each one through in turn as you work through the stages as well as downloading and printing the accompanying step by step instructions before starting each 'module'.  The whole course should take no more than 10 hours in total if you are working at a fairly relaxed pace.

Q: How long will I have access to the course?

A: All the step by step guides are downloadable onto your own computer and so are yours to keep to refer to again and again. Access to the video tutorials is time limited for a full 3 months from the date of purchase.

Q: Can I share the course content with my friends and family?

A: My course content is designed to be a one off purchase for the exclusive use of the buyer and is password and IP protected, so please do not attempt to share it with others.

Q: What happens to my personal details after I have bought the course?

A: Please be assured that your personal data will be kept totally private and will not be shared with any third party EVER in compliance with the GDPR regulations.  I do not share a workspace or computer with anyone else and have full protection via antivirus software.

Q: What if I am unsatisfied with the artwork I make as a result of completing the course?

A: If at first you don't succeed, try again! ...the beauty of an online course is that there is a huge margin for error and the point of doing it is that you will undoubtedly learn from your own experience of trying out the techniques so that you can hone your skills and go on to make better work the next time.
