Whatever your chosen creative passion is, most ideas start with a pencil or a piece of charcoal or chalk and are formulated on paper using a series of marks and lines; the collective term for which is known as drawing.
It is the bedrock practice for all of my paintings, printmaking, mixed media, graphics, or clay projects and I simply would not be able to create anything without first making a drawing.
