TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Time scales will be dictated by the scale, complexity and detail involved e.g. number of subjects or ’elements’ along with the size of the Work and existing workload as well as paint drying times, which can take up to 6 months for a Work in oil.

Following the initial consultation, all future discussions and subsequent agreements must take place via email to stand as a written record for both parties.

On agreement with the costs, scheme of work, and timescales, a non-returnable deposit of 50% is payable before I begin the work in order to cover the cost of my time and materials. This includes digital work for the cost of the electricity consumed in running the hard and software I use to create the work, as well as my time.

Images of the preliminary sketches will be emailed so that we can agree on the composition e.g. positioning of the subjects and elements - and discuss colour schemes, etc before I continue and updates will be sent regularly to advise you on the progress of the work.

On completion of the work, a low-resolution draft copy will be sent via email for approval.

Any slight alterations and amendments requested will be carried out with no further charge but any subsequent changes and/or amendments will incur further charges, which we can discuss and agree.

The completed work, including digital files, will not be sent until the remaining fee is paid in full and cleared.

In the unlikely event of you (the customer) being totally unsatisfied with my work, the painting will be retained along with the deposit, however, please be assured that I will work extremely hard with you to meet your expectations and ensure you are 100% happy with the outcome of the work before it is released.
