These three illustrations came into being via my initial interest in pyrography, which involves using a tool to effectively burn an image into a wooden substrate. I had acquired a job lot of circular and untreated plywood panels which were perfect for pyrography, so I chose some royalty free images of animal heads, and set about making my pyrography triptych which I later titled 'Three Kings'.
The illustrations on the strip below, are the illustrated versions rendered digitally using ArtRage 5 and Photoshop in order to make them available as prints for sale.
